Jon D. Tingey, CFA
Principal & Portfolio Manager

Prior to becoming a Principal at Tingey Advisors, Inc., Jon served as Vice President and Team Leader of the Investment Management Group for Wells Fargo Bank (Utah) and was responsible for managing the overall investment process; Jon has over 20 years of investment management experience. Before joining Wells Fargo (Utah), Jon served as Chief Executive Officer of ANSCO Technologies – a high technology company manufacturing computer cables, laptop modems, and other connectivity products. He also served as assistant to the senior Vice President of Intermountain Healthcare. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Utah and holds the designation Chartered Financial Analyst. He is married and the father of five children.

Natalie P. Boss
Chief Operations Officer

Natalie is the Chief Operating Officer at Tingey Advisors, where she has worked for the past six years. In her time with the firm, Natalie has collaborated across departments to define workflows, implement best practices, and support the evolving needs of both portfolio managers and clients. With over 25 years of experience in client services and business management, she brings a broad and strategic perspective to operational leadership. Natalie’s background in small business management has shaped her deep understanding of both financial operations and customer relationships. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah. Outside of work, Natalie is married with three children and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Amber F. Gale
Chief Compliance Officer

Prior to becoming Chief Compliance Officer at Tingey Advisors, Amber served as an Operations Associate with the firm for over three years. During this time, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Southern Utah University.

Demonstrating exceptional dedication and expertise, Amber was subsequently promoted to her current role after earning her Master of Accountancy, graduating summa cum laude from the same institution. Amber brings a strong skillset in overseeing daily operations and ensuring meticulous account management and finds fulfillment in the intricacies of financial systems and strategic problem-solving within the business. She also expertly manages various financial systems to maintain operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Outside of her professional life, Amber is passionate about an active lifestyle, having completed over 20 marathons. Her adventurous spirit extends to her love of travel and spending quality time with family. A long-time resident of Holladay, Amber has been happily married for 28 years is the proud mother of three children.

E. Douglas Johnson
Investments & Retirement Plans

Doug has been involved in the retirement plan and investment business since 1986.  Over the years, Doug has helped many business owners, and their employees save for retirement through corporate retirement plans. Doug has consulted with business owners, management and Human Resource professionals and has been directly involved in establishing 1000’s of new plans and taking over and improving existing plans.  Doug has always focused on plan design, participant education, financial literacy and wellness, as well as helping employers maximize tax strategies. This focus helps employers improve and add value to their employee retirement benefits. Doug has built a strong reputation for helping and motivating employees to budget, plan and save more as they work toward better retirement outcomes and readiness.

A native of Salt Lake City, Doug has lived and worked in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.  He has spent the last 27 years in Salt Lake City as a Senior Vice President at John Hancock/Manulife Retirement.

Doug attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree in accounting and Pepperdine University for a graduate school MBA. He is married and has 4 children.

Jan A. Pazzi, CFA
Portfolio Manager & Investment Committee

Jan A. Pazzi, CFA is a Chartered Financial Analyst and serves as a portfolio manager and member of the Tingey Advisors, Inc. Investment Committee. Previously, Jan worked in the banking and insurance industries primarily in fixed income markets. In addition to Jan’s portfolio management duties, she serves as the principal fixed income trader analyzing government, municipal, corporate, mortgage and other credit instruments to ensure investment suitability for client portfolios. 

Michael A. Pazzi
Investment Committee

Michael A. Pazzi  is a member of Tingey Advisors, Inc. Investment Committee.  He brings a wealth of experience in the banking industry at both Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank. Most recently, Michael spent the past 23 years as an executive with Wells Fargo Bank, managing the strategic business segment of Business Banking.  Michael brings broad understanding and unique perspective in economic, fiscal, and Federal Reserve monetary policy.
